2.1 In the case of purely informational use of our website, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect such data that your browser transmits to the page server (so-called "server log files"). When you call up our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display the website to you:

Our visited website
Date and time at the moment of access
Amount of data sent in bytes
Source/reference from which you reached the page

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. A transfer or other use of the data does not take place. However, we reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively should concrete indications point to illegal use.

2.2 For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g., orders or inquiries to the controller), this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the character string "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser line.

For the hosting of our website and the display of page content, we use the system of the following provider: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA.

All data collected on our website is processed on the servers of the provider.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

4) Cookies

In order to make the visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, which are small text files stored on your terminal device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted after the browser is closed (so-called "session cookies"); some of these cookies remain on your terminal device longer and enable the storage of page settings (so-called "persistent cookies"). In the latter case, you can find the storage duration in the overview of the cookie settings of your web browser.

If personal data is also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR either for the execution of the contract, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR in the event of granted consent, or in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the site visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually on their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Please note that if cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited.

5) Contacting Us

When contacting us (e.g., via contact form or e-mail), personal data is collected. Which data is collected in the case of using a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of answering your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. If your contact aims at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request. This is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the facts in question have been finally clarified and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

6) Comment Function

As part of the comment function on this website, in addition to your comment, information about the time the comment was created and the commentator name you have chosen will be stored and published on this website. Furthermore, your IP address is logged and stored. This storage of the IP address takes place for security reasons and in the event that the person concerned violates the rights of third parties or posts illegal content through a comment. We require your e-mail address in order to contact you if a third party should complain about your published content as being unlawful.

The legal bases for the storage of your data are Art. 6 (1) lit. b and f GDPR. We reserve the right to delete comments if they are objected to as unlawful by third parties.

7) Web Analysis Services

Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which enables an analysis of your use of our website.

By default, Google Analytics 4 does not use cookies when you visit the website, unless you expressly consent to cookies. Instead, information about your usage behavior is collected and processed by means of so-called pings (small data packets sent to the host of a terminal device). The scope of this information also includes your IP address, which is, however, shortened by Google by the last digits to exclude direct personal reference.

The information is transmitted to Google servers and processed there. Transfers to Google LLC based in the USA are also possible.

Google uses the collected information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us, and to provide other services associated with website use and internet use. The shortened IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. The data collected in the context of using Google Analytics 4 is stored for a period of two months and then deleted.

All processing described above, including the transmission of data by means of "pings" and the possible setting of Google Analytics cookies, only takes place if you have given us your express consent for this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.

Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 will not be used during your site visit. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please deactivate this service via the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded an order processing contract with Google, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

Further legal information on Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://business.safety.google/intl/en/privacy/, https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=en and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Demographic characteristics

Google Analytics 4 uses the special "demographic characteristics" function and can use it to create statistics that make statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This is done by analyzing advertising and information from third-party providers. This allows target groups for marketing activities to be identified. However, the collected data cannot be assigned to a specific person and is deleted after storage for a period of two months.

Google Signals

As an extension to Google Analytics 4, Google Signals can be used on this website to have cross-device reports created. If you have activated personalized ads and have linked your devices to your Google account, Google can, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, analyze your usage behavior across devices and create database models, including cross-device conversions. We do not receive any personal data from Google, only statistics. If you wish to stop the cross-device analysis, you can deactivate the "Personalized advertising" function in the settings of your Google account. To do this, follow the instructions on this page: https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764?hl=de

Further information on Google Signals can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7532985?hl=de

User IDs

As an extension to Google Analytics 4, the "User IDs" function can be used on this website. If you have consented to the use of Google Analytics 4 in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, have set up an account on this website, and log in to this account on different devices, your activities, including conversions, can be analyzed across devices.

8) Page Functionalities

8.1 Google Maps

This website uses an online map service of the following provider: Google Maps (API) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps in order to represent geographical information visually. By using this service, our location is shown to you, and any journey is facilitated.

Information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers and stored there as soon as you call up the subpages in which the Google Maps map is integrated; this may also involve a transmission to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether a user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish for the assignment to your profile at Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them.

The collection, storage, and evaluation are carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interest in the display of personalized advertising, market research, and/or the demand-oriented design of Google websites. You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact Google to exercise this right. If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of using Google Maps, there is also the option of completely deactivating the Google Maps web service by switching off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and thus the map display on this website can then not be used.

Insofar as legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data as described above in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please follow the procedure described above for making an objection.

Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/en/privacy/

8.2 Google Web Fonts

For the uniform display of fonts, this page uses so-called Web Fonts of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.

When calling up a page, your browser loads the required Web Fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly and establishes a direct connection to the provider's servers. In this process, certain browser information, including your IP address, is transmitted to the provider.

Data may also be transmitted to: Google LLC, USA.

The processing of personal data in the course of establishing a connection with the provider of the fonts is only carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service via the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website. If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

Further information on Google's privacy policy can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/en/privacy/

9) Tools and Miscellaneous

9.1 Cookie Consent Tool

This website uses a so-called "Cookie Consent Tool" to obtain effective user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. The "Cookie Consent Tool" is displayed to users when the page is called up in the form of an interactive user interface, on which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by ticking a box. Through the use of the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user gives corresponding consent by ticking the box. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the respective terminal device of the user if consent has been granted.

The tool sets technically necessary cookies to save your cookie preferences. Personal user data is generally not processed in this process.

If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is processed for the purpose of storing, assigning, or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific, and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our internet presence.

A further legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR. As the controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of cookies that are not technically necessary dependent on the respective user consent.

Insofar as necessary, we have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

Further information on the operator and the setting options of the Cookie Consent Tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.

9.2 Lexware Office

To handle our bookkeeping, we use the service of the cloud-based accounting software of the following provider: Haufe-Lexware GmbH & Co. KG, Munzinger Straße 9, 79111 Freiburg, Germany.

The provider processes incoming and outgoing invoices as well as, if applicable, the bank movements of our company in order to automatically record invoices, match them to transactions, and create financial accounting from this in a semi-automated process.

If personal data is also processed here, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the efficient organization and documentation of our business transactions in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

10) Rights of the Data Subject

10.1 The applicable data protection law grants you the following data subject rights (rights of information and intervention) vis-à-vis the controller regarding the processing of your personal data, whereby reference is made to the stated legal basis for the respective requirements for exercise:

10.2 RIGHT TO OBJECT

IF WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITHIN THE SCOPE OF A BALANCING OF INTERESTS ON THE BASIS OF OUR PREDOMINANT LEGITIMATE INTEREST, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO THIS PROCESSING WITH EFFECT FOR THE FUTURE FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED. HOWEVER, FURTHER PROCESSING REMAINS RESERVED IF WE CAN PROVE COMPELLING REASONS FOR THE PROCESSING WORTHY OF PROTECTION WHICH OUTWEIGH YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ASSERTION, EXERCISE OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED BY US FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT ADVERTISING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING. YOU CAN EXERCISE THE OBJECTION AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED FOR DIRECT ADVERTISING PURPOSES.

11) Duration of Storage of Personal Data

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and—if relevant—additionally by the respective statutory retention period (e.g., commercial and tax law retention periods).

When processing personal data on the basis of express consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, the data concerned is stored until you revoke your consent.

If there are statutory retention periods for data that are processed within the framework of legal transactions or obligations similar to legal transactions on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, these data are routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, provided that they are no longer required for contract fulfillment or contract initiation and/or there is no longer a legitimate interest on our part in further storage.

When processing personal data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right of objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.

When processing personal data for the purpose of direct advertising on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right of objection pursuant to Art. 21 (2) GDPR.

Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this declaration regarding specific processing situations, stored personal data will otherwise be deleted when they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.
